About
Holy Water Earthworks designs and implements rainwater harvesting projects throughout Tucson.
Holy Water Earthworks was founded by Tucson landscape designer and water-harvesting practitioner Logan Byers.
Rooted in Tucson
Logan Byers has been designing and building landscapes in Tucson for more than a decade. She earned her Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona in 2011. In 2013, she completed a 72-hour permaculture design course with Sonoran Permaculture Guild. In December of 2016, she became a certified water harvesting practitioner from Watershed Management Group. Logan has worked across residential, commercial, and public landscapes throughout Southern Arizona.
Her experience includes work with Watershed Management Group, leading Tucson Clean & Beautiful's RainWorks program, and running her previous landscape contracting business, Green Cloud Landscapes.
Holy Water Earthworks brings those years of experience together with a particular focus on the relationship between water and land—and on creating landscapes that become more resilient, abundant, and enjoyable over time.
Why
‘Holy Water’ ?
Creating a landscape can involve designers, irrigation specialists, planting crews, earthworkers, masons, concrete contractors, and other trades. You shouldn’t have to figure all of that out yourself.
Holy Water Earthworks can manage your project from design through installation, coordinating trusted local contractors and specialists, communicating throughout the process, and helping ensure that the pieces come together as intended.
For specialized work outside our scope, we can also help connect you with experienced local professionals.
Logan’s approach
A landscape is a living system.
Logan approaches landscape design as a process of bringing many layers together: water flow and people flow, plants and shade, habitat and gathering spaces, function and beauty.
She especially enjoys the puzzle of residential landscapes—understanding how a relatively small space works, identifying what's getting in the way, and finding opportunities for each part of the landscape to do more.
The goal isn't simply to make a yard look different. It's to create a landscape that works better.share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

“I love solving problems in small spaces.”
Residential landscapes are personal. Logan loves figuring out how water moves through a property, how people want to use it, where plants and shade belong, and how all those layers can come together into something functional and beautiful.
